Legal conditions of access
In France the real estate agent position is subjected to the HOGUET law; a real estate agent holds a professional card “Transactions on Buildings and Business” to be allowed to work.
This card validates a professional capacity, which is justified by a diploma of higher education (diploma listing established by decree n° 72-678), or by the exercice of negociator activity, or by a professional experience as executive in estate agencies for a length of time fixed by the decree.
